    Question Problem with application.php

    Hi

Local PC installation on Lite version. After login using 'admin'
as p/w and u/n, this is what I got:

Warning: Undefined variable: in C:\program\apache\htdocs\application.php on line 165

I got about 9 to 10 lines of these messages saying about
undefined variable and undefined offset 2 and 3.

Please guide me how to correct the problem.

If things go well and I, later, like the program I'm thinking of
purchasing the license. So far, your program is good.

Is this a new installation? try re-uploadind the .php files and chmod them to 777 to see if this doesn't correct the error. Check out your admin setup to see if the directories are correct and the database has been created.

Yes, it is a new installation. I can't chmod to 777 'cause I'm using window XP or can I?

Database seems to be OK. I can add link, but can't 'validate/edit'. When I click on 'validate link' it shows blank on the following screen. If anyone else have had similar problems and know how to fix it, please post.

Thanks for the help anyway. I'll keep playing with it.

How do you specify paths in application.php ? I think it should be slash(/) rather than backslash(\). So it would be C:/program/apache/htdocs...

4.0+ of PHP. Looks like I didn't configure PHP correctly in my Apache server on my local PC.

Most stuff works except those 'warning messages' that make everything looks nasty. I'm new with PHP as well. Maybe I'll keep on playing around with it for a while longer.

Are you about to release a new commercial version soon? If you can give me some discount from the current price ($99), I'm thinking of buying your commercial version and learn more about it. Over all, it's great database software.

    Thanks for the reply everyone...
