    Default Phishing warning on IE

It appears there are a few issues with this free script, looks like the major problem is with the yahoo feeds, that are flagging the site up as a phishing site and my main concern is that Microsoft flag the warning. This could do serious damage to any site wanting to be listings.

I have removed the yahoo scripts and the warning has gone. I have reported this issue with microsoft.

It's perfectly normal to include an RSS feed on a site, in fact millions of sites do it. This phishing garbage from Microsoft isn't doing any good that I've ever seen and is hurting a lot of valid sites. Someone needs to sue them over this.

I dont think its the Yahoo feeds causing the issue. I just did a brand new install on a new site I'm developing, and when the Kosmo theme ( default theme ) came up, I got the phishing warning. Then I make Cleaner the default theme and the phishing warning went away. It would appear that some themes cause it to pop up, and others dont.

That's the "issue" though. Microshaft says it's the domain, not the site that's causes the phishing errors.

Their algorithm is messed up and they won't admit it.

No its due to the Yahoo feed. Had a report back from Microsoft and that seems to be the issue. Seems like some people are using this software and the feed to mask bad sites. I have had my domain and sub domains removed from the phishing list.

Speaking to my SEO team and thankfully this was fresh install and the site was not live, there could have been a very good chance of the site being blacklisted before it actually went live.

That's not true, no one is using IndexU for "malicious" purposes. It's just MS making up excuses for their bad filter. And if there is anyone doing it, it's a small minority.

By all means, disable the yahoo feed. I don't think they really provide much to a site anyways.
