Installed - Admin Blank Screen

Hmm,

As per other posts I'm getting a blank screen after installing. Tried with Register Globals and Magic Quotes(?) off and on. No luck.

I downloaded the free version today, it says 5.1.1 lite and the file size was 4.6Mb.

I was going to buy again (I purchased a license a couple of years ago but have lost it - it really is a good bit of software) but I just can't get the free version to install.

Help?

Could be an issue with ioncube. Try to test ioncube:

All seems OK with that.

An ionCube encoded file has been loaded successfully.
Encoded files should now function correctly.

when going to indexu/admin I get the logon page but then haveing enter the default id/password admin/admin I then get the blank screen.

File uploaded with autodetect for ascii/binary and /admin/index.php looks ok:

I'm not so sure why the problem occur. But I think it's caused by php version you're using, it's PHP 5.0.4, it's an old version and my contain bug. Try to use php4 or php 5.1.x

It's weird, indexu do not have config_db.php file.
Please submit a helpdesk ticket so we can see your installation.

I think I may have figured it out .... open_basedir is controlled not only at server level in php.ini but also at a domain level. This is a Linux/Plesk dedicated server.

I will report report back tomorrow and if not solved will submit a trouble ticket here.

Again GREAT support from you dody .... that's another reason why I want to make INDEXU work for my server.
