Demo version question

I signed up for the demo version, and it downloaded as an .exe file. Looking at the installation manual, it gives me no help on what to do with the .exe file. Secondly, I'm on a Mac, so the .exe file does not help much.

1) Do I need to be using a Windows box to run this?
2) What's the story with the .exe file and how do I use it to demo?

For an exe, yes you would need to be on windows.

Not sure why the demo would be in exe format only (it's an installer). I'll see if we can get it up in zip format as well.
