Viewing info depending type of user

Hello,

My requirements are these:

1) All visitors would can search business in the directory, by default they (unregistered users) only will see basic information like business name, and type of service of the business (may be with a message like "If you want to see all info about this business please signup").

If they are intereseted in get more details (like phone, e-mail or other specific information) they would have to register in the site. Only registered users will can see complete records.

The role of administrator has the same features like INDEXU offers (if possible administrator would can approve or disapprove new users registration)


2) If I have different categorys with custom fields each one, is it possible to implement without have to see the custom fields in all categories?

Alex, indexu the following category permission:
- new link submission permission:
* no need editorial aproval
* need editorial aproval
* not allowed to submit in this category

- Category appearance:
* member only
* hidden

So there're no need any additional working on your requirement. You can try in demo website www.indexu.com/demo/admin/
username: admin, password: admin
then go to view category -> Edit

Custom field is for Link data, not category data. So the link data will be generalize to all categories. It will show the same data in all categories

Currently, in INDEXU If I setup a category for "Only registered users", unregistered users can not view nothing below the category.

I want that unregistered users have access to the category, and they can view some fields .. by example: Name and description only.(BUT NOT ALL).

If they are registered users, then they going to view ALL FIELDS (Name, description, e-mail, and other fields).

I want give to unregistered users a little test of info in the directory in order to animate them to register.

I could not do it in the current indexu.
