Hello,

I have two old hacks from V3.04 that won't work correct with V3.1 and I hope someone can help.
I got them a long time ago from two programmers for some money, but I can't reach them again.

1. a dynamic category menu
This dynamic menu will show a template based list of all categories on every site you want.
It was written for V3.1 but combinated with a special kind of mod_rewrite and without I can't get it.
A very good mod, because you can use a 1 colum category menu as example in browse or somewhere else.

2. This mod will show the new, pick, hot, top_rated and links of a defined category on every site you want.
It works with some paremters and you can decide wich links you want to show, how many and you can define a special template for them.
The hack is written for 3.04 and is not working perfekt with V3.1.
The following problems are left:
- top_rated won't appear
- it seems that the script doesn't show the right links, if you chooce a special category to show.
- it will only show the first category of a link.

The script can be used with php in your own website or you can use javascript to show your links on every website in the world !
But:
- to use php you need 4 orders. Working well on a new site, but I can't get it in my indexu templates...
- javascript is working fine (without the problems I wrote some lines before), but the script doesn't show the german letters "ä, ö, ü" and perhaps other special letters correct.
I don't know why

I hope someone can help me !!!
