More google map help needed please

Hi all, I'm looking for code that I have seen on several sites. I have managed to integrate google map with no probs but what I would like is a moveable marker on the map that when dragged to a location displays relevant listings to the marker. I have seen this in action on a few sites but can't seem to find the relevant code....is it a widget from google maps or is it custom code?....any suggestions would be most gratefully recieved as it is the final requirement before I can put my site live

I believe what you want can be found at http://code.google.com/apis/maps/doc...tion/examples/ simply view the code for the example you like and copy it.

Thanks for your quick response, I have the google code for the movable marker, it was how to tie it in with the listings on my page I couldn't figure...e.g. if I move my marker to Manchester Uk it should show all my listings for manchester on my page....kinda lazy mans search function.

I would have no idea how to do that, you'll have to find someone on the forum who did it or perhaps Google has a group/mailing list where you could ask.
