    Question Premium Vs Sponsored

    Hi,

Could anyone tell me the difference between the various listings, what is the difference between Premium and Sponsored?

...is the difference where the listing is shown...etc?

    Thanks again,

    C

No offense Carl but this question has been asked at least 996,589 times. Just in the last week.

Bruce, it looks like despite your best effort to get folks to at least perform one search before asking this (or any) question, it's just not going to happen.

I suggest making it a sticky (sigh).

Think they'll read the sticky? Probably not. And they want to create the next Yahoo. Think they'll do that either?

The sticky list is getting large already. But I have an alternative in mind! And with a few slight changes it could change the world!!!!!

ok not really change the world, but at least put an end to some repeated questions

I've searched for it myself and found the best way to see the difference was to run a test on my site.

Screen shots at the main NiceCoder site would be helpful (features section). IMO, that would clarify a lot of these questions here in the forum.

Personally, I was looking to see if premium or sponsored listings had their own sidebar once created (no) or directions on how to create the sidebar listing of premium and sponsored ads.

Still looking. I suspect my problem is more one of not being much of a programmer and still bumbling my way around IndexU to figure out how to customize.

You'll get there! If your a member of IndexUDirectory there is already a MOD for this.

You can even create this yourself with a little bit of work. What helped me was studying the current blocks. If you study them you can figure out how they work and then you can use them as a template to creating your own
