Document Contained no data

My pages are showing blank in IE and error message 'document contained no data' in Netscape.
I know this has to do with php.ini setting but I can't remember the requirements for.

Register_global
magic_quote_gpc
magic_quote_runtime
magic_quote_sysbase.

Dody please help today.

Thanks for your response.
I have solved this problem. The pages are showing OK now but my log is full of so many PHP warning messages.

'Undefined variable' ..................

Too many of them.

What could be going on?

what php version do you use?
using indexu 3.0.4 and patch 2?
