Let me tell you, a known good host that will run IndexU out of the box with no modifications and allow everything to run properly (mostly mod_rewrite) is apparently a rare thing nowadays. So many hosts have horrible php configurations that "allow" mod_rewrite but it doesn't work.

While there are PLENTY of other hosting companies on the net that offer cheaper hosting than me, I believe two things :

1 - You get what you pay for... Cheaper isn't always better. It usually means they are stuffing as many domains as they can on each of their servers in order to maximize profits. This results in servers being taxed heavily on resources. While this isn't always the case, it usually is more times then not.

2 - What you wont get from bigger companies is the personalize service I offer. My company has been around now for over 4 years. We are not a startup company. My clients are all long term clients that have been with me for years. Why? Because they dont wait 2 weeks to get a reply from a support ticket saying MySQL has been down the entire time and their site rendered useless. I answer tickets personally, along with my support staff. Alot of times, I'll even call clients to discuss ways to help improve their hosting experience. You wont find that with 99% of hosting companies out there.

I dont spending hundreds of thousands of dollars each year advertising trying to be the #1 web hosting company on the net. My hosting company is smaller, and its like that by design. The one thing each of my clients talk about is how friendly and personal the service is.

I was not trying to start a controversy or to imply that your services were not excelent. I was replying to the statement:

They are two ISP where Indexu works as it should right out of the box. Nothing more, nothing less. As I did avoid qualifying your services because I do not know them, you should not qualify the services of other ISP that you do not know, making other look bad does not make you look good. Both of the ISP I am using have excellent tech support which I do not have to contact often because their server are well configure and maintain.
