any idea how to do a small "print functions" so visitors can print link details or get a special page for printing ?

I'd be interested in getting a some lines of code for this function as well.

phpmydirectory.com's demo site has this feature. It's a pretty nice one too. A hack to create that would be great. They also have a map feature. Is there one here for that?
