need to change layout of indexu

Hi all,
My client website is:
http://www.secahec.org/artman/publish/

my indexu links page is
http://www.secahec.org/links/

how do I get my indexu page to "have the same look and feel of my clients site. Do I edit the .php files or the .html files or what?

Hi karen,

great question.

You edit the html files. Look in your themes/default folder for all your templates which you should edit.

header.html cat_header.html index.html , footer.html all should help you out.


mail folder should also be edited to customize your mail.

msg.php in the default folder should be edited to change correct email address.

title.inc should also be edited to change website browser titles.

Read faq's and other related post to find more answers. Do a search always helps.

Hi Hart_House,
Thanks for your timely response. I realize this is a question/answer that has been handled before. I did several searches to no avail. I spent a couple of hours reading thru other posts I found interesting and usable, which I printed out for future reference.

Where in the FAQ is this question answered? If it's not in there maybe it should be for newbies.

Again, thanks so much for your help - I really like indexU and since the upgrade, think it'll be a benefit for many of my clients!
