    Question DB syntax in converting

I'd like to convert one of my directory (based on qlweb script) to IndexU script. I need a piece of advice - where's the faq about syntax to database structure for IndexU ?

IMy current DB have a categories numbered one by one (I mean 1..2..3..4..5 and so on) and numbered subcategories connected with main categories. In IndexU the number for each category (main cat) is somhow generated - is this a problem if the category will be numbered one by one ?

thanx for any help and advices...

You can download an excel spreadsheet that shows how the category and links tables work. It can be found at Database template

Categories should be numbered one by one. Check the spreadsheet and you should understand how it it works.
