Default Upgrading to pro version ??

    Hii :

I am considering using IndexU for a hosting directory, i am planning for !

Okay, Now, I plan to use the free Lite version and later, i would like to upgrade to the paid version. When I want to upgrade, is it scalable and can upload...without losing any data in my lite version which will be functional ??

    Thanks much

Indexu Lite uses the same database structure as the commercial version. Which means you will be able upgrade to the commercial version with ease.

Also, when i upgrade...to commercial version...will the changes i have made in my lite version remain the same..or do i have rework all of it again..??

Most changes are done to script pages not template changes. You may have to add a few new features or tages to your original templates if we add some new features but that won't be too hard.

Just make sure you have a backup of your templates before you upload the new version, or you might overwrite them by mistake.

Indexu is very flexible with the template sets in different folders allowing you to edit and make changes to your website while being able to upgrade the new features.
