tag feature - how do people tag listings?

Hi, I haven't seen this answered anywhere.

How do users tag listings? Or how does the tag system work? I can't see any way to tag a listing.

jsut hte keywords that are added when the webmaster adds the site. I think it would be a great improvement to allow users to tag also though.

As far I know, the tag creates automatically based on links title & description. There is an option inside admin panel in order to generate tags.

As inspireme mentioned tags come from the "keywords" for each link

The function in admn simply (not to sure if it is simple!!) gets the keywords and groups them and places in a different table idx_tags.

The search function is different it looks at title, description and keywords

I'd guess you might have to run 'Update Tag Clouds'

Tag clouds are populated from keyword of each link. Because of complex computation (consider with large number links), we decide to build it manually. It's in admin panel > link > update tag clouds

S if the links do not have keywords, then the tag clouds could be empty.
