Default Questions: no-website listings, custom fields, syndication and building database

I'm currently looking for a link indexing script and I'm quite charmed by Indexu. However, I have a fex pre-sales questions:

    1. I know Indexu is basically a link indexing script, but is it possible to add a record of a company or organisation without a website (no link available)? That way the detail page displaysonly the company information (name, phone, address), but no link?

    2. How easy is it to add custom fields? Can I assign different custom fields to different categories?

    3. Maybe this is a feature request: is it possible to syndicate content of the index? For example: a list of new sites of a top 10 (most popular sites), done by an RSS-feed? So other sites can display that list on their websites?

    4. About building the index. I've collected and organised already about 1.000 links. I will not ask the owner of the website/organisation/company to add their website themselves, but I will do it myself. I also plan to do this for future links: the user will not be able to add a link, only to suggest a link. The editorial team will evaluate the request and add it (or not) to the directory. However, is it possible from within the Admin to notify the owner of the website that the link has been added to the directory, e.g. an email with the message "Your website has been added to the directory. Click here to view your listing."?

    Thanks,

    Nico
