I'm very interested in purchasing WPDirectory Pro but would like to ask a few questions first. My apologizes for the length of this post.

Regarding Thumbnail Images:
How are the thumbnail images served for sites listed in the directory we create? Does WPDirectory Pro fetch and store/cache them on it's own or will we need to use a service like thumbshots.com? If a thumbnail service is required is there a particular one already integrated into the plugin?

Regarding Editing of Files:
In the past we've purchased scripts that all files were encoded on which significantly restricted our ability to customize the output. I want to make sure before purchasing that the files are not encoded so we can modify them for layout purposes. Do we have access to edit files like to remove items we do not want displayed and or change the layout of display? For example if we wanted to remove the thumbnail image or change the link text for "detail" to something else do we have the ability to dig through the files to make these type of simple edits?

Regarding Hyphens:
Has the Hyphens bug been resolved yet for categories that contain hyphens in the cat name? If not is there an ETA on a fix?

Regarding Premium and Sponsored Listings:
Do admins have the ability to add premium and/or sponsored listings from the admin panel? We found a request from another forum member in the following thread, http://www.nicecoder.com/community/f...listings-8591/ has this been included in the 1.3 release yet?

Regarding Submission Queue:
I understand that there is an option to have submissions sent to queue for admin approval before they are added to the directory and an email template to notify that a submission has been added once approved. Is this the same for rejecting or not approving a submission? Is there an email template that will notify a submitter that their submission was not approved?

Thumbnails are fetched from thumbshots.org. There is no caching of the thumbnails although I would like to change that in the future (next version).

No files are encoded, but at the moment if you want to edit them it must be done via FTP. The next version should include the ability to edit them in the admin panel.

The hyphens bug has been fixed. NOTE - maybe not, I just confirmed a bug report while I was writing this. One cateogry with hyphens worked and another did not.

An admin can change the listing type when adding a new link. However it appears that an admin cannot change an existing listing which appears to be an oversight. I'll make sure this gets fixed in the next release.

Yes there are multiple templates for submissions. One for approved, one for awaiting approval, one for rejected etc.

WPDir is new, and it is evolving. We're listening to customers and changing things as time goes on. Very few actual bugs exist in WPDir, I would classify them as annoyances rather than bugs.
