Can IndexU accept none website holders like Yell.com etc, ???? if so is a default feature or is a mod required?

The great thing about the power of IndexU is that you can make it into anything you want it to be. Some use it as a cooking receipt site, others use it for a coin collection site. If your looking to list things, IndexU can do it.

There isn't a mod required. Basically it would be a matter of probably adding custom fields ( which can be done through the admin panel ) and making HTML modifications to the templates.

yell.com is a very good business listing website. The big different is the map and its filter (park, dentist, hotels, etc.). It will require a lot of work to develop this map pages. And I think the most interesting part of this website is this big map page.

The only thing I would want to do is give my subscriber the option of giving a website address or not. the other information would remain with a few additions such as biz address, contact number fax, surely this wouldn't ruin the map feature (which I think is great)
