Newbie in need of assistance getting started

I am a newbie to link directories, PHP, MySQL, and Indexu. I am considering godaddy.com to host my directory. I downloaded the free version to see if I can do this with my limited knowledge. If all goes well I will upgrade to the single domain license.

Am I on the right track or way over my head? Any help in getting started would be greatly appreciated.

I have no experience with godaddy hosting, but i suggest to host in webhosting which use whm/cpanel. There're plenty of choise, you may visit WebHostingTalk Forums - Web Hosting Discussion for more information.

We offer free installation into your server as long as the webhost support mysql and php it's fine.
