    Smile MAMBO and INDEXU +

    Hi,

We are considering to buy Indexu to install it for one of our new
portals and I'm interested is it possible to integrate INDEXU
    with MAMBO: http://www.mamboserver.com/ .

    Some other questions:

    * Is it difficult to make each category with different
    header/footer?

    * If we buy Dmoz Extractor, can we import only definite
category (for example only category "Health")?

    * What is the payment for updates after the first year?

    Thank you in advance!

it has been a while since I played with it, but I believe that is the way it works. see http://www.nicecoder.com/community/s...dmoz+extractor

I believe updates are free the first year. Also, v4, when (if) it is released, is supposed to be free to those who have purchased INDEXU.

artvision, we don't have mambo and indexu integration.
But you interested, please email me at support@nicecoder.com to discuss about the hack.

Im doing another project in a few months that will use indexU and either drupal, mambo or phpnuke. I have never used any CMS yet, so its going to be a lot of learning. I maybe intrested in any mod like this one.

I recently downloaded Mambo and have set it up as a test from when I move to CMS and I love it, it seems the best of the bunch so far. I would be interested in this as well

I have played with a few and like Mambo the best, however PMachine http://www.pmachine.com/ may be the best for working with Indexu....but it may have the hardest learning curve.

Mambo is a great program and very easy to work with, however I tried intgrating Indexu into it with no success, I ended up wrapping Indexu into Mambo. I will admit I am no expert coder, but it looks to me like PMachine would work better, but the average person will give up on trying to use PMachine. Anyway I would like to see it work with Mambo, this would make a very nice combination.
