    Default Listings without links

I would like to set up a directory for a niche group. Many of the members of this niche group do not have websites, but they have businesses that they want to advertise on the Net.

Can IndexU add some listings that do not contain links to websites and others that do contain links?

Can I add images to any listing that represents a company logo or a product picture?

    Thanks,

    Jim

tyes you can you need to make a simple change for the URL issue, but its jsut commenting out a little line of code - indexU does a couple of checks to make sure that the listing was filled out correctly and this is one of them. its extremly simple to Change.

People use the script for many different thigns and its extremely flexible. I would say indexU is one of the best scripts to use if you wish to deviate from the "general directory" which is served very well by other scripts.
Main IndexU sites : | Campsite Directory | Tourist Guide | Places2B | AfterDirectory <-- Half price submission using coupon DP50 (from just $11 premium, and $10 basic permanent )

To answer the unanswered question about images, yes you (or users) can upload logo's or images with each listing.

Thank you for all the quick replies.

Keep in mind, I don't want to remove the ability to show a URL or even to disable reciprocal links, I just want to have choices for each listing plan and for each member type.

Like you said, echo@, it's hard to know what search terms to use, although a closer look at all forums might have turned up part of the answers I needed.

    Thanks again,

    Jim
