install indexu in folder...then move to root

Im using another script and want to ask you something before buy indexu...

can i install indexu on www.mysite.com/indexu/

insert manually the links that i have in the other script in www.mysite.com and when i finish inserting links, delete the script i have in root www.mysite.com and move www.mysite.com/indexu/ to www.mysite.com

can i do this ?

Yes you can, once you want to move it you simply need to edit application.php to reflect the new path and URL (two changes).
