    Default import from esyndicat

    Greetings.

I have one nicecoder directory now seo-website-pro.com and am rather pleased with how the software works.

I have another web directory www.thesitelist.com that I am interested in porting over to this software as it is using esyndicat and I am totally dissatisfied with it. I've had it for a couple of years and at the time it seemed my best choice. I understand you offer free help in converting my links from this over to the new one?

I don't have any special mods or anything to worry about but another issue I am concerned with being able to port over is if you look at the existing catalog there is a feed in the right column that is from exactseek and I would need to be able to somehow integrate that into the new program. They originally programmed it into my software so not sure how or what was done there but would need to solve that in order to transfer.

I have heard many issues about bugs with esyndicat, whether they're true or not I don't know as I've never used it.

Nicecoder no longer offers free conversion and if I remember correctly that was only for phpld conversion.

I can do the database conversion for you. Pricing ranges from $30-90 depending on difficulty and database size.

The feed can be done simply by placing it in what is called a block. You would simply need to copy the code over.

    Well, they are probably true.

If I can just copy the code over into a block then that might be simple enough.

As far as free conversion it says this on the front page of the nicecoder website:

We offer free database migration from ANY other directory scripts. If you already have another directory or link exchange script we can migrate its database to the IndexU™ Directory Script for FREE !

    So what gives there?

You'd have to talk to Dody about that one. You can send him a PM here on the forum.
