Hello Dody,

I have been out of the directory seen for a while now but I am back. I am interested in Indexu for a project but would like to know if what I need is possible and anyone can jump in.

I would like to have paid listings, but I also want to have paid memberships to be able to view the listings. The 2 would need to have different billing types.

Paid links are already built into IndexU.

Paid memberships are not, but it shouldn't be hard to do. IndexU already has the ability to make categories members only. A payment interface would need to be set up.

Thank you for your reply. I was aware of the paid links, but the paid membership to view is what I need to setup as well. I have a copy of Omnisecure software but it has it's own authentication process which I do not think would work well against IndexU's, not to mention it maintains a seperate user database for all of it's billing. To use it, I would need to find a way to have everything go through Omnisecure or IndexU. There are a few other programs for classifieds which have this billable process for making the dir/listings availble to paid members, close to what IndexU already has. I think this would be a great new feature to IndexU and something I would pay more money have be able to use. I am not a php programmer so I do not know how to add this fuctionality to IndexU myself.

I guess the easiest way to do a paid membership would be to use http://www.amember.com/

amember states it can integrate with IndexU
