    Default Dmoz Extractor

How does the dmoz extractor work? I am hoping you can pick a category, and then it will extract verything in that category; for example, subcategories and listings. Is this how it works, or do you have to manually pick every subcategory and listings?

to explain a little better, if i was going to do a directory of a particular U.S. state, for example; ALABAMA. I would start at dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Alabama/

would i just enter this path and the tool would extract all main categories and their children all at once, or would i have to manually go down each level and extract them one by one along with any listings that are in the categories???

It will automatically grab all the sub-categories too.

EDIT: DMOZ is now a plugin for IndexU, not a seperate desktop software. You'll need a IndexUTemplates.com membership in order to use DMOZ Extractor
