Advanced Search?

Hi,

I looked at your demo and saw only a simple search tool. Does your software have a more advanced search that can search by catogory. Also, my client wants to her listing by U S State. Is it possible to specify that a custom field be included in search option? For example, select Colorado to see all listings in Colorado.

Is it possible to add fields to the search? For example, I'd like to add states.

unless you have altered the power_search_form, the <%$custom_field_form%> in that file will display all custom fields.

if you have removed it, then try adding the field using standard HTML with the field shown as <%$states%> .

you can now choose hwich fields you want to display in the search form, when you add a custom field jsut tick "searchable" and it willa ppear int he power search
