Adding info fields

Hi I really like the look and feel of IndexU.. but I have a few questions before buying..

1) how many updates are we allowed after purchase? 6 months, 1 year, lifetime, etc..

2) How many listings/ users can it handle before some site slow down may occur? How resource hungry does it get? Would moving it to a dedicated server help in a situation like this?

3) Can I add options to the listings? Like if I want to add a required field or two that the user must fill-in and that added info would then show with their listing. Is this possible with IndexU?

4) Also is this project still alive? I've been reading the forums and it seems that 3.0 has been out a long time .... with no signifigant updates. The manual on the site is still for 2.0!! even the company website only lists 2.0 as the newest on nicecoder.com

You will get free update for a year and discounted price for new release after that

We're tested with real database with 7000+ records of links perform good result. One of our customer said that having 100,000 records and found performance down. However there're many factor behind this. Please read this thread for more detail

You can add additional field as many as you like without coding a single line. In order to make it required field, you may need to add a few line of php codes.

4) Also is this project still alive?

We're developing new version, in a few days we'll releaase beta version.

Security problem has been fixed in 3.0
