5.4 Features enquiries

Hello Dody!

I had just seen Directory of niche and regional/local directories only - IndexU Directory on INDEXU 5.4 and have a few questions. I'm not sure which features are customized by Zubby or its part of 5.4 feature set.

Are these features new in 5.4?
1. Thumbnail of link sites is supported? I don't see this in the 5.3 demo.
2. Managing of advertisement banners.
3. Context sensitive RSS news content in different categories
4. Site news/anouncement publishing
5. Details of link site includes preview screenshot
6. Display thumbnails for Latest New Additions and Updates instead of text links

If the above is a preview of what's in 5.4, it's pretty impressive.

I came back to Indexu after a very long absense because of these features.
Doddy used to have a way of releasing new versions few days after my one year expires.
Is there are release date of 5.4 with these features. Thinking of unlimited license

It use inspireme method which explained in Modification forum

No, the ads are from google adsense image

Context sensitive RSS news content in different categories

It's not context sensitive, it's manually done, for each category.

Site news/anouncement publishing

No, in front page, it's a rss news from other website.

5. Details of link site includes preview screenshot

Using inspireme method as above, and custom field with image type

Display thumbnails for Latest New Additions and Updates instead of text links

It's a block which is exist in current version. Zubby just modify the template.

FYI, indexudirectory.com use standart code, a few code hacking. Most of job can be done by template modification.

About the unlimited license. Is it for one year?
Do I have to pay $499 every year in order to run 2 or 3 volunteer directories?
( In my part of the world, people do not see why they have to pay to submit sites to a directory when google is doing it for free)
