    Default A quiet policy change

As you may be aware, Nicecoder has had a policy of not permitting adult or gambling related websites.

As of a month ago, Nicecoder no longer has this policy. You may now use our scripts for any legal purpose providing you have a valid license.

Please note - and this is VERY important. Some staff may have religious issues with these types of sites. While we respect your ability to use our products for any legal purpose, you must respect our staff's choice of religion.

If a staff member refuses to work on your site please understand that we do have other staff that will work on your site. Your ticket will be forwarded to a staff member that can help you.

This also brings up another issue, which is the posting of adult and gambling links on the forum. I have decided that we (Nicecoder) will not permit you to display or advertise any adult sites on the forum.

Since the Nicecoder site is meant for a large, general audience of any age, we cannot condone the posting of links that may expose our customers to adult content.

You can forward them directly to me! I might not be able to fix the problem, but I'll be glad to LOOK the site over very carefully... Inch by Inch!!!

@ Bruce, I believe will be nice to have a premium mod to have the user to declare they are over 18 (but age cut off should be choice from the webmaster).

It is obligatory for adult a gamble site, but could be quite useful also with site that have some kind of stuff unapropriate for no adult member.

It would be, we can look into it. But let me say that NO method of age verification is foolproof. All you can really do is make someone declare they are 18 (or over the age of majority where they live) so they can proceed.

This could actually be done with Javascript on the index page. But we'll look at a verification thing too.

And you know it doesn't have to do with age only. It could be for what some consider scandalous or controversial (such as information on birth control, abortion, sex, politics or religion).

Yes, of course. It's just a legal matter.

It's should be done before to open the folders/category. Actually, would be nice if a webmaster could choice which singular folder/category must have this.

This solution could be useful if somebody as just a singular adult/gambling category in a general directory.

It could be useful also if somebody had a category (no adult or gambling) but still with content could not be appropriate for a young.

But we'll look at a verification thing too.
That could be top, but I never see anything like around so I can't suggest you any solution.

EXACTLY! Infact, that's way I think could be a nice premium plugin.

Another suggestion could be if you could also make a COPPA mod (but I believe should be standard in indexU) to be (legal) sure that only above 13 years age can be registered to the directory and suggest site

    Thanks
