IndexU Deluxe 1.21 Released

Nicecoder is proud to announce that IndexU Deluxe v1.21 has been released.

IndexU Deluxe v1.21 is a maintenance release and contains the following
- Invoice bug fix
- German language files
- Spanish language files
- Youtube video plugin

IndexU Deluxe v1.21 can be downloaded from the client area.

Exactly what files changed from 1.20 to 1.21 that should be considered "essential"?

add.php
upgrade.php
/admin/hook_place.php
/admin_tpl/menu.html

All other files are additions to the script such as the language files and the plugin. Those files/directories are

/lang/de_DE/*
/lang/es_ES/*
/plugin/youtube_video/*


Additionally, all of the free templates are now 1.2x compliant and have all of the hooks present.

But, when IndexU Deluxe'll contain the following French language files?

No one has done a french translation yet, if you'd like to do one we will offer you a free license for IndexU.

Before you get to excited everyone the youtube plugin is simply on or off.

It displays only on the search results.

I was hoping this plugin to have some sophisticated features like zubbys where you display related youtube content relitive to actuall listings on the detail_link.html. Or randomly display a video using the installed categorys as strings to find content.
Or even maunally set what content you want. just seems like a basic plugin

Maybe im wrong, theres no guide to using it, or what you can do with it, or even where to find its when enabled .

I also noticed a Power Search plugin, any ideas what that does?

Well done for creating a youtube plugin, I think this has to be part of indexu, not a mod from a 3rd party

I know nothing about the youtube plugin, I'll find out as soon as I can.

The power search plugin enables you to have the power search right in a block (left or right side) instead of on a second page.

There is actually another youtube plugin coming, that should be VERY exciting. But I won't say anything else until it's complete

I just spoke with the programmers, and by default the youtube video shows on the search results page.

The output is taken from the search keyword(s).

Interesting, can we also use "YouTube" in the FAQ (for example to show to the users how submit a site to the directory) ?

You could add a video to that page, but not with the plugin.

Are you sure ??? i received in the past an email from nicecoder.com (don't remember the person), they told me that french version is in progress and i seen a french IndexU online, don't remember the link, so a french version has been done by nicecoder.com, i'm sure of this !!

If the site translated into French isn't IndexU 1.0 or above, the translation wont be any good. 5.4 language files were completely different along with how IndexU was coded to use the language files.
