Indexu 7 demo updated : the front end

I updated the indexu 7 demo site. Although it is not complete, I'd like to show you how good is indexu 7.

1) The number of template files reduced to 10 files (compared with indexu deluxe which has over 80 files).

2) Template file is purely in php file. It is faster and no need to worry about smarty cache files anymore.

3) Every block of contents are controlled individually in admin panel. For example, 'Latest Additions' in bottom of front page. In admin panel, you can control it here:

4) Try login with facebook. Click it, then it will create new account automatically. It also send email notification that you have created a new account in indexu site.

5) See detail page. You can allow other user to add images, videos, promo, etc to the listing. You can also hide it by editing the template file. This feature might be overkill, but I got a lot of request of this kind of feature in the past. Just hide it if you don't want to use it.

6) Indexu real strenght is the custom fields. See how you can set the comment / review custom fields in admin panel. Notice that rating and subject is 'custom'. You can also add more fileds if you wish.

At the moment I'm working with submit form. It now has two step at least. First, select the listing type. Then the next page will be the full form acording the listing type. Then it should be the payment page.

I will provide you update once it is done.

I don't see any editable SEO meta elements for categories or listings: <title>, meta description, keywords. Certainly there should be control over <title> and meta description. Am I missing something?

Ahh I forgot it. I will add in admin panel too. For now it is available in detail page. See the submit link under the images, video, products etc.

It is ready. For category, it is in category edit page:

The meta description use category description. The meta keyword use meta keyword field.

For detail page.
Meta keyword use listing's tag. The meta description use listing's description.


Sometimes entering meta data for each listing and category can be an exhausted task. In indexu 7, I have anticipate it by adding 'default' value for meta data for category and detail page.

If it is not enough, you can add custom fields for these meta data, then change a few line of code. Code modification in indexu 7 so much easier than indexu deluxe. That's why the reason I totally develop new script for indexu 7.
