Nicecoder is proud to announce the release of iDesk 1.6

iDesk is helpdesk software that allows you to process your daily support requests. It will help you to create a customer support center where you can facilitate eased communication and issue tracking between customers and support staff.

Version 1.6 includes the following updates;

+ now support escalation for unresponded tickets beyond a set time limit, the list will be generated and sent via cron process
+ ticket browsing and viewing has been converted to ajax
+ user can view the latest post by clicking on the ticket in ticket browse
+ previewed ticket can be viewed on the current page or new page
+ latest posts status are being represented by icon
+ fixed bugs on single quote character
+ fixed bugs on email notification
+ default data can be translated to other languages
+ installation can detect and add necessary tables and columns
+ spam tickets can be deleted collectively from header menu
+ user can now close ticket after reply
+ default text area is no longer tinyMCE, users can now switch between tinyMCE and default text area by pressing the button
+ spam filter is no longer filtering on staff's reply posts

There were also many other bug fixes, most of which were minor but still caused issues for some users.
