Here is the Nicecoder schedule of work from now until the end of January

1) Templates - being adding version numbers to them in the following format
templatename - indexu version - release number

So for kosmos for IndexU 1.21 release 2 the version would be kosmos.121.rel2.zip

2) To assist with versioning, ALL future versions of IndexU will be numbered as follows majorversion.minorversion.fixversion This means that all future IndexU releases will have a version number followed by a period and two more numbers such as 1.21 or 1.30

3) The project tools have a lot of open issues, any issues opened before Dec 31 2008 will be worked on, completed or officially assigned during January. There is no reason why all of these items are still left open.

4) All templates will be made w3c compliant and some new hooks will be added. Templates will also be checked to ensure hooks are closed properly

5) Included with IndexU after version 1.21 will be a text file that details any and all changes to the templates.

6) Release the usenet search script

7) Release the rapidshare/megaupload search script (completed beta testing tonight)

8) Release a final version of NiceBackup

9) Re-Release all Nicecoder manuals

10) Some more work on the Nicecoder site to fix some broken english

11) Late January - Release IndexU 1.30

There most probably will NOT be a release of IndexU during the month of December. Since we're trying as hard as we can to make upgrades as painless as possible we need to finish updating the current templates, add a few hooks, add the version numbers and we should be finished.
