Spider Check link Issues

Hope you see this and WILL reply this.

Is there a way where we are able to split the spider link checking and select links that we want to check instead of running the script where it will start to check from 0. This is because it will take up too much memory and directories with big data will have problem to get all their links check.

It will be good if we are able to display all links from our database in our backend and spider check links by pages. In this way it stand a better chance to get all our links checked

I'm not so clear. Let say we have 1000 links. In a page there is 20 links, so there will be 50 pages.

Do you want to have checkbox in left side, then it has a 'check link' button. When this button clicked, it will check the selected links.

Assuming we want to check all of links, then we have to navigate each page then click the button 50 times ?

FYI, indexu also record the last time of each link being checked. So recently checked links will be not checked again. However I agree with you, for large number of links it will be resource consuming. Manual checking like you proposed is a good thing too.

As you have mentioned about the amount of pages we have to navigate but still it will be extremely a good idea to have it because of the resource consumption. If we need to do it we have to do it.

As for the spider check link script I belive that there is a bug because it always start from record 0 and checked links are been checked over and over again each time we run the script.

It will still be a good idea to have spider check link be done manually. When can it be integrated?
