Default No support on here - not good for old & new customers

as the head said, their is no support on here.

if i was a developer, i would at least take at least 5-10 minutes of my day to just reach out to the people on these boards and to help out or to see what's going on. i think it is a good business practice. but i have not seen anything...nothing.

i have not been here in over a year really and it looks like all the good people who used to be on here who used to helped each other are all gone or ran off.

can someone please explain what happened to all the good people and where they went.

    this is horrible.

i'm going to start posting my problems on youtube.com videos so that i can get help that way because this is bad. the only problem with that is, that if people see these problems on youtube, people are going to see all the bad stuff as far as bugs and not purchase or not support the script, but i have no other option especially if nobody is helping.

iv'e already received numerous people wanting to help me dissect the problem on scriptlance.com which is AWESOME, so i guess if anything that might be the best way to go. just so crazy because they all want a copy of the script and time to look at it. i don't think that's needed, but since i'm not a programmer and i can't get any help any other way i have to do what i have to do knowing that GOD is good regardless.

any suggestions or options anyone please feel free to post your feelings.

    here's my problem before:

This is a worry, I wish I'd read this before I upgraded (especially as the upgrade has failed.)

Just to add I emailed my issue via the Nicecoder contact form, as the support ticket area seems to be gone (?), and had an email from Dody in a matter of minutes so while the forums might be a little dead there is help still there.

yep chris, i sent email directly to nicecoder and nothing.

this looks really bad for for the community and as a person who believes in good carma and the process of how the universe works, without question this is bad and its bad energy to the members.

but if anything carma is nothing to mess with and to know that your not taking care of, or hurting the people who have been your biggest supporters of your project i think is a sad reality. its really sad.

ive been with indexu for longer than 5-years, but from the looks at how things are now, compared to how they used to be on the site, things are going downhill i'm afraid to say. over my many years in the music business, if theirs anything that ive learned that's simply a reality its this, some people may be good musicians and some may be good artists, but they are not automatic good businessmen. or the same could go this way.....some may be good programmers, but running a business and taking care of their customer base is not their niche or they didn't go to school for that which is understandable, because if they did, these forums or even the way indexu is operating would be MUCH DIFFERENT. i just want to be fair and honest here looking at the whole picture of all things.

i really feel sorry for all the people on here who are having problems, or the people who have paid for the upgrade and the new upgrade which doesn't even seem to work (e.g. http://www.nicecoder.com/community/f106/just-purchased-upgrade-now-what-10221/), that's horrible.

but this stuff has been like this for years and its the same thing and it never changes. im just thinking that many people just left and could not deal or bear with it, i don't know, but like i said before....their used to be many people, i mean really good people who used to to be on here more often helping others, but no more or they just dissolved within the process of their daily lives.

from what ive seen in the past with such situations is, people get so disappointed with stuff like this that they simply leave, or they step up and decide to re-invent the wheel of the project and make it bigger and better and usually it's owned by someone else just like the car industry.

for example, someone came out with the first car, and then others took it apart, dissected it, and built on top of that and eventually created a new car. this is not just saying, but this is a fact of evolution. look at how google.come surpassed yahoo.com, it's the same thing.

bottom line is whatever the case, i can't wait to see things evolve. im going to do some research and see what i find. we are all not alone and good carma is with us.

hahah still no help, but that's ok....i have a feeling that help is on the horizon for all of us. :~)

but im glad that people are reading THIS, for i love to be the one that makes a difference.

one thing that ive learned in life and that' that, the truth is the truth and that the truth shall always prevail. so at the end of the day the people will forever lean with the truth of all things no matter what is said or done.

so yes, things may be a drawback at times with indexu, but eventually, we will all be ok.

thank you for reading and for taking your time to share your time in my feedback and my thoughts, i just want to help.

well like i said before...... everything will be ok when u have faith.

today, i had a developer help me out, and the good thing about it was he donated his time, simply because he understands the circumstances of such events, i didn't have to compromise the script and loan a copy to a programmer while being at the mercy of such, which was a good thing.

i'm working on getting someone who might be able to help people like us...so give me a bit of time in the meantime, but scriptlance like i said before is simply an amazing place to find help if all fails. i LOVE scriptlance.
