Importing fields through phpMyAdmin

HELP HELP.

I am trying to import into indexU 2 what a pain. I only get an error message in phpmyadmin.
"Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/phpMyAdmin/libraries/sqlparser.lib.php on line 1024 "

I just wish that the old fields where still still in the program so i could import my data.

using this template i tried to import a file that i had imported into another indexu directory using 1.4 2 weeks ago i might add with no problems at all.

Invalid field count in CSV input on line 1. this is when i try and import directly into phpmyadmin s a csv file.

when i try and import the same file saved as a tab deliminated file [ this is the file i successfully imported into my other directory 2 weeks ago.

A couple of things....

1 - I agree with you... It never made much sense to me to remove this feature. It was already there, so why not just keep it in there.

2 - If your using a tab deliminated file, why is phpMyAdmin spitting out SQL syntax errors at you? When your importing it, are you using 'tab deliminated' as a file type?

3 - Did you match up the fields correctly between your import file and the fields that are in the idx_link table? I dont know for sure, but there is a chance that maybe a field has been added or removed. This would definitely cause problems when importing.
