Can not change language

Hello,

my website: www.gorny-slask.pl

I can not change the language other than English.

I read this post and check my files on FTP, and all are OK (for example: /public_html/gorny-slask/lang/pl_PL/LC_MESSAGES).

When I change in admin language setting, this is saved and no change on my website.

Have you any idea?

Can you explain more ihave the same problem in changing to arabic

Indexu use gettext as language engine. It depend on the operating system you have. The OS must support the language code you want to use.

If you have access to shell command line, try to check the supported language. Run the following command:

locale -a

Hosting administrator set "locales-all" and localizations work now

You can also try advice from pbas. Or need to ask your webhosting provider.

I am hosting my site in servage.net and they using Linux as server OS what can i tell them to it for me

From my experience, the default installation of linux distribution, most of them only install some of the language. They must be installed manually.

May be they do not installed other than default languages. Please ask your webhost support. If you have shell account, I may able to help you checking supported languages in your server.

I was contact the support dpt. and they tell my locales are set to all ans so serve is support Arabic i have already more than 3 web sites in same host plan in Arabic i don't have shell account but i can ask support team to do what i want

Another tip if you run debian/ubuntu vps /server, you can install all languages by using this command:

apt-get install locales-all

Without running this command, usually you only have one language. Don't forget to login as root.
