Plugin suggestions needed

Going off what echo@ in this thread http://nicecoder.com/community/showthread.php?t=7439 I am looking for more suggestions. I would like to make the user management in the admin area more complete. Here is what I have in mind.

• Have the ability to view ALL users
• Have the ability to view only activated users
• Have the ability to view only un-activated users
• Display activated and un-activated users seperately
• Ability to re-send the activation email if the user has not activated his/her account
• Show the number of listings the user has submitted

If there is anything you would like to see added, please let me know.

I seriously wouldn't do those as a plugin, almost all of them are scheduled to be built into IndexU. I'm not trying to burst your bubble or anything, but I just see it as pointless if you do it and then we release the same thing.

I didn't think of the resend activation email though. But now I've added it to the list.

Thanks for the info Bruce. I will wait for the code to be implimented into IndexU.

I have seen on other sites where the users can have the verification email re-sent to them. They simply enter their email address and click submit and it re-sends the email.

Also, as the admin, you should be able to manually change the status of the user without editing the database by hand.

The next version of IndexU will be out by the end of the month and should include a whole bunch of tools in the admin panel for managing users.

List all users with registered status is a good idea, just another thing that i think would be good is to add a "date registered" next to the user status.

Here is what I did to my script last night before Bruce told me they would be implimenting some changes in the next versions. It is not in plugin form and is just an edit of 3 files. I can zip it up and send it to you if you need it right away.

It shows the Join date and their current status. It lists the un-verified users first, then the verified users.

Let me know if you want the files or if you want to wait.

found atleast 13 users that where un-verified, the great thing about this is you have managed to force indexu to display the un-verified users.

This saves me having to go into myphpadmin finding the entrys blah blah blah.

A couple of improvments in my apinion.

there could be false users that have registered and verified but have no links subbmitted, maybe if there was the amount of submitted links by the user also?

AND

Could verified be in green and un-verified be in red?

I know the nicecoder team are going to create somthing close to this in the next revision, making indexu show the un-verified users is a nice feature.
