New! Improved Link Validation Plugin

Hi Everyone

I am submitting this new plugin for consideration in the plugin of the month contest. Of course this plugin is for the new IndexU Deluxe version (AKA version 6.1) and it is offered for FREE. It was tested on version 1.1 (Refer to AKA) and I don't know if it will work on version 1.0.

Simply put, this plugin makes life much easier for you if you have a lot of submissions to approve or deny. You can choose to display up to 75 links per page and approve, reject with notice, and reject silently all of the links at once. Try it out, I am sure you will find it much more efficient than the default way IndexU does.

To install:

1: Download the attached file named improved_link_validation.zip

2: Upload the entire file and its contents to your plugin folder.

3: Log in to your Admin area and go to view all plugins.

4: Find "Improved Link Validation Plugin for IndexU 6.1" and click the install icon.

5: Now either click on validate links in the "Links" menu or from the "Improved Link Validation" menu the plugin created.

I am currently working on getting my old mods for version 5.4 converted to plugins. I will post them as I finish them.

One other thing I almost forgot to mention. I have added a single banner (468x60) to the top of the page. I used to charge for my mods, but I am hoping to give them away for free. I promise to keep the banners related to webmaster topics. I simply ask that you leave the banner in place. If you feel you cannot live with the banner, you can edit it out by hand from the link_validate.html file in the admin_tpl folder.

Thank you for the plugin, but some how I am getting this error message:

Warning: call_user_func(PL_Validation) [function.call-user-func]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback in /home/wedonly/public_html/lib/plugins.class.php(47) : eval()'d code on line 1

I have made a small change to the plugin to see if that corrects the error.

Re-download the zip file.

Upload the files to your server overwriting the old files.

Uninstall then reinstall the plugin from the admin panel.

Then try it again. I am not getting the error on my server and have not been able to replicate it in any way. Can anyone else confirm whether this throws an error on their server?
