This is not as much a plugin, but a modification on the Search Function. With our modification you can offer your visitors to search directly in db (LIVE).

Hi James,

1, You need to upload a file in your theme folder called assests
2, Upload our power_search.php
3, Upload our power_search.html fields or even better just change the body (fields).

Done, your search looks like this:

Adjust it. Do you use custom fields?
1, Copy paste the code from power_search (f.e. title) and replace the name of the custom field with title.
2, Do the same with power_search.html.

Go to your home and refresh..

Hi Tom, does it load all of the title to drop down list ? it slow in my browser.
You may need to set a limit.

Yes it does.

On big db's it is slow. I asked our programmer to try caching it.
