Hi all,
This is the 4th or 5th time i've used indexu, either for one of my companies projects, or for a client project, and the reason is fairly simple - because for the money you can't beat it!
Its easy to install, modify, hack and set up as you want. Sure like all things improvements could be made, but tell me one package for which thats not true!
Anyway to the point - Just thought i'd show what can be done in just under one day of customising indexu. I've used a few hacks courtesy of esm and indexuhelp.com and i'm trying to install a few more namly the inhits hack, the checkurl hack and one other, as soon as i've got these installed i'll post back.
The site is in two parts, a marketplace, and the directory (powered by indexu). I've tried to make the site look simple and easy to use, so far feedback has been pretty good.
I'm now in the process of trying to get links submitted, so if anybody in the forum has a site which they think could be included, then please submit it!
