Still might be better to go with 3.2

Some of the modified hacks include Search engine friendly pages - http://www.bargainlab.com/browse-300.html , http://www.bargainlab.com/detail-95.html etc ( i like the way the programmer did it)
I would want the Bugs fixed Instead of upgrading and missing out the modified codes..
Another hack added is located here - http://www.bargainlab.com/add.php?cat=13
The programmer has modified quite a bit here and there which i am not aware of..
I hired the programmers services from a freelancers site and he is out on a vacation
I am a lil paranoid to upgrade it for fear of sleepless nights
Any Takers?![]()
i believe how v3.2 do with mod-rewrite is better.
instead of
www.bargainlab.com/browse-300.html
you will have category title in your url to increase the se rank

If you afraid to update, you can fix the bugs one by one. Please visit this and go to bug listing. I've added how to fix bugs there.
You may also install v3.2 in your non public folder to see how well is the upgrade and use backup database. If everthing is fine, then you need to move to public folder. By doing this you can ensure the the upgrade won't mess your website![]()
Thanks Dody, I will look into it and keep u updated.![]()
You will need to talk to the programmer and find out exactly what he modified. Hopefully, he identified his changes in the code.Originally Posted by Baccillus
In looking at your site, I do see the mod_rewrite in more than just the index/browse pages. I think you would need to extend the v3.2 to include more pages. I didn't really see anything eles but you should ask the programmer to be sure.
Other than that you would probably benefit from 3.2

when you modify the code from your affiliate links. Sometime they do not work properly and you can be losing your commission.
